I've seen some very cool usages for the Android so far, let aside the mobile phone platform:
1.) Business Desk Phone/Organizer looks really good !
2.) Video / Gaming platform , needs a lot more work but hey ! At least it's something
3.) Not that exotic but still kickass :-D - Archos internet tablet, eat that Apple :-D
4.) Barnes & Noble eReader - Nook
5.) M Tube MID anyone ? MID shares media with TV set via gestures.
Anyone knows of any other usages ?

I think these are about all for now, but I am sure that pretty soon we'll see our green friend in some pretty exotic places :). From my understanding, Android was already ported for processors with MIPS architecture, which means we'll see it in more embedded devices.
I can think of a few uses that would be pretty interesting like, washing machines, fridges, home heaters, cleaning robots (would be nice to see it on iRobot Roomba for example)...Imagine having all electronic stuff in your house at your fingertips, controlled from your Android phone :).
